Citi Business News has gathered that the CEO OF US Tilapia, Godfred Medicine is still in police custody after he was arrested last Thursday.<\/p>\n
Godfred Medicine was granted bail by a Kumasi High Court yesterday but has not been able to meet the sureties.<\/p>\n
The police picked him up last week in Accra after a warrant for his arrest was issued by a Kumasi High Court.<\/p>\n
The Ashanti Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Yussif Mohammed Tanko told Citi Business News Medicine failed to meet the conditions given by the court.<\/p>\n
The Company was dragged to court by a number of its clients and investors for failing to honor a promised return on their investment.<\/p>\n
US tilapia promised a 100% annual return or a 10% monthly return on invested funds, but failed to do so.<\/p>\n
