A man believed to be in his thirties has jumped to his death from a telecommunication mast behind the Navrongo District Police Station in the Upper East region.<\/p>\n
The body of the man, whose name is yet to be identified, has since been deposited at the Navrongo War Memorial Hospital.<\/p>\n
Narrating the incident to Citi News<\/strong>, the Navrongo District Police Commander, ASP Abdul Latif Nbonwura said \u201cat about 2 pm a young man who is about thirty was seen on top of a 120 wireless mast situated behind the Navrango District Police Station shouting I want to die, I want to die.\u201d<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”sdFSMCZlKh3554zsbavyGPewIxvJULS5″]He said \u201cefforts were made to calm him down or rescue him but all proved futile.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201c At a point he jumped from the top to the ground and when he was sent to the hospital he died.\u201d<\/p>\n ASP Abdul said \u201cthe body is now at the Navrongo memorial hospital pending post mortem examination.\u201d<\/p>\n
