{"id":56643,"date":"2014-10-15T12:30:27","date_gmt":"2014-10-15T12:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=56643"},"modified":"2014-10-15T15:25:23","modified_gmt":"2014-10-15T15:25:23","slug":"northern-ndc-to-sue-party","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/10\/northern-ndc-to-sue-party\/","title":{"rendered":"Northern NDC to sue party"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1413372106869_29876\">A pressure group in the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC)\u00a0has given the party\u2019s national executives a one week ultimatum to settle out of court, a law suit filed by an aggrieved member of the party, Njonolah Linus.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1413372106869_29871\">Njonolah dragged the party to court accusing the current <strong><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/23\/ar-ndc-elections-in-limbo-court-to-decide-on-sep-26\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\">national executives of overstaying their mandated tenure of office.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1413372106869_29890\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;sNEqFbXP0PpjjeqR2UqnjNtlE2eaxZDp&#8221;]Presiding Judge of a Kumasi High Court, His Lordship Jacob Bunoo advised the NDC national leadership to <a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/10\/14\/ndc-election-case-judge-orders-for-out-of-court-settlement\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color: #666699;\">amicably resolve the issue to save the party from disintegration.<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following the court ruling, the pressure group, Concerned Group of NDC in the Northern Region is threatening to also sue the party\u2019s national executives if they fail to settle the case out of court within a week.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1413372106869_29888\">Spokesperson for the group Gariba A. Zakariah in a statement said the &#8220;party\u2019s apathy towards the court case is a deliberate attempt to continue staying in office.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Gariba A.
