Njonolah Linus dragged the NDC and its executives to court<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> for allegedly overstaying their tenure of office and also breaching some provisions in the party\u2019s constitution.<\/p>\nThe Court had earlier ordered the national executives of the party to hold on with the national elections and that of the Ashanti Region for a 10-day period.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”KSgEaNJXu1VGujRwyqej4PQcIU602ppV”]The NDC has subsequently postponed its National Delegates Congress scheduled for October 25, because of the case.<\/p>\n
Linus Njonolah who spoke to\u00a0Citi News<\/b>\u00a0shortly after the hearing said,\u00a0His Lordship Jacob Bunoo told them that his ruling has the tendency of tearing the NDC apart, hence, the need for an out of court settlement.<\/p>\n
The judge charged the two parties to settle the issue before returning to court on October 27th<\/sup>.<\/p>\nThe Judge also cautioned the NDC against underestimating the capacity of the petitioner in the case.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen we look at the case, I have a lot of people who are interested in the case and I have a strong case that I believe in,\u201d\u00a0Njonolah said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe judge said that there are people who are also interested in the case, that\u2019s why the court has been full to capacity whenever am coming a lot of people have been coming to the court room,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
