Some traders at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra, have expressed their displeasure at the decision by government to pull down a footbridge to make way for the completion of the overpass.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The old footbridge is expected to be fitted with explosives and brought down at 15:00 today, hence the decision by the contractors to sack the traders from area.<\/p>\n <\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n Some of the traders are unhappy about the decision.<\/p>\n One of them who spoke to Citi News<\/strong> said \u201cthey have given us an ultimatum which ends tomorrow. If they move us from here, it will be a source of great sorrow.They are only teaching us to steal and practice other vices\u201d<\/p>\n Another trader said \u201cthe government should have given us a place to do our business before collapsing the bridge\u201d<\/p>\n Also, some pedestrians say the destruction of the footbridge will inconvenience them.<\/p>\n
