Nana Ohene Ntow, the spokesperson for the New Patriotic Party\u2019s (NPP) flag bearer hopeful, Alan Kyeremanten<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> has said that his boss will not stop promising free bicycles and other goodies to party delegates.<\/p>\n Alan Kyeremanten on his campaign tour in Ho in the Volta Region on Wednesday, \u00a0promised the delegates bicycles, mobile phones and money<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0if they elect him the flagbearer in the upcoming October 18 congress.<\/p>\n But the move drew widespread condemnation from his opponents and political watchers who say his promises amount to vote buying.<\/p>\n However, Alan Kyeremanten’s spokesperson, Nana Ohene Ntow has rejected the criticisms claiming that his boss should rather be commended for having good intentions for the party because such facilities would make their work easier.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”SnoUIO1xda45cugCbFgpP4nEfxnB6EZT”]Speaking on Citi Eye Witness News<\/b>\u00a0he insisted that Mr. Kyeremanten’s promise \u201cdoesn’t break any law at all.\u201d<\/p>\n He argued that; \u201cthis has been part of Alan\u2019s message from day one. These are issues that has to do with the practical operation of the party, indeed in the party\u2019s provigil<\/a> constitution, it is demanded that whoever wants to stand for any key position ought to show that they have supported the party in the past and that they do have the capacity to support the party in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
