The 2012 Auditor General\u2019s report which was based on the audited accounts of the NHIA between 1 January, 2008 to 31 December, 2009 revealed that huge amounts of public funds were either diverted into non-existing investment accounts or withdrawn without a trace.<\/p>\n

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Sylvester Mensah, has admitted that the 2012 Auditor General\u2019s damning report on the finances of the Authority is true, but the misappropriation did not happen under his watch.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga was also on the show and clarified that the former YES boss, Adu Asare was not dismissed but reassigned as a Presidential Staffer.<\/p>\n

He also stated that Ghana will benefit from hosting the AFCON 2017.<\/p>\n
