The Executive Director of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe has commended the President for taking a bold step by dismissing the\u00a0Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) Fund, Adu Asare.<\/p>\n
He stated that Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) are elated with the decision.<\/p>\n
Adu Asare who was the head of the Protocol and Supporters Welfare union for the Brazil 2014 World Cup, has been criticized for his involvement in the poor organization of Ghana’s participation which led to the abysmal performance of the Black Stars\u2019 in the tournament.<\/p>\n
His appearance at the Dzamefe Commission a few weeks ago where he admitted that some funds collected for Ghana’s World Cup campaign was misappropriated led to calls for his dismissal from the YES fund.<\/p>\n
