The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Enterprise Support(YES) Fund, Kojo Adu Asare has been relieved of his post.<\/p>\n
It is unclear whether Mr. Adu Asare\u2019s sacking is related to his role as head of the one of the Committees that executed the plan for Ghana’s participation at the 2014 World Cup.<\/p>\n
Ghana\u2019s appearance at the Brazil 2014 World Cup tournament in June was hit with a series of scandals leading to the early exit of the Black Stars from the tournament.<\/p>\n
Several people including the Executive Director of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe called on President Mahama to dismiss Mr. Adu Asare\u00a0 after he admitted his involvement in the Black Stars\u2019 poor showing in Brazil.<\/p>\n
