{"id":51766,"date":"2014-09-28T11:33:53","date_gmt":"2014-09-28T11:33:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=51766"},"modified":"2014-09-28T11:58:05","modified_gmt":"2014-09-28T11:58:05","slug":"agya-koo-nimo-grateful-to-philantropist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/09\/agya-koo-nimo-grateful-to-philantropist\/","title":{"rendered":"Agya Koo Nimo grateful to philantropist"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>When Oscar Yao Doe, Group Chairman and President of Eurostar Group of Companies, bought a 1960 Oscar Tella Guitar belonging to Agya Koo Nimo during the auction at the Musiga Grand Ball event on \u00a0September 5 \u00a0at the State Banquet Hall in Accra, \u00a0he had no idea that three weeks later, the legendary musician was going to pay him a visit in his office to express his gratitude.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Agya Koo Nimo came all the way from Kumasi in the company of his student master guitarist, popularly called Sporatz, and a team from Musiga headed by the President, Bice Osei Kuffour.<\/p>\n<p>After thanking Oscar Doe for purchasing his guitar for GHC15,000.00 \u00a0auction in aid of the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund, Agya Koo Nimo and his prot\u00e9g\u00e9 serenaded the guests with sweet authentic live music from their acoustic guitars.
