The people of both\u00a0Nkoranza North and South in the Brong Ahafo Region thronged the Nkoranza township to give\u00a0embattled former Member of Parliament Eric Amoateng a rousing welcome on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The former MP for Nkoranza North,\u00a0expressed gratitude to the Chiefs and people of Nkoranza for the massive support they gave him when he was incarcerated.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”G6Y0QhEBlRK8fGcYXZPZXUPCP5dZDd3x”]Mr Amoateng\u00a0was earlier arrested in Ghana<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0upon his arrival from the US where he served a ten year jail term for illegal drug trafficking.<\/p>\n He was subsequently arrested by the Ghana Police at the Kotoka Airport\u00a0for allegedly possessing a fake passport<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n
