A member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) legal team, Godfred Dame has described as mischievous, the case<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in which two members of the party are seeking an injunction on the NPP October 18th congress.<\/p>\n Two members of the NPP, Rexford Agyei Frimpong and Oppong \u00a0Kyekyeku sought an order against the National Council to fix a new date for the congress.<\/p>\n Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, Godfred Dame said “it is curious that members of the NPP are relying on known NDC \u00a0lawyers to push for a postponement of the NPP congress meant to elect a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections.”<\/b><\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”cQgzb26ydBUSiyoNbiDVHzZF15W1IaxM”]An Accra Fast Track High Court has however set October 3, to rule on the application.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n The court application follows calls from flagbearer aspirants, Alan Kyerematen and Addai Nimoh that the party\u2019s leadership should reconsider the date for the congress.<\/p>\n
