{"id":51568,"date":"2014-09-27T13:53:29","date_gmt":"2014-09-27T13:53:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=51568"},"modified":"2014-09-27T14:23:20","modified_gmt":"2014-09-27T14:23:20","slug":"calls-for-chraj-boss-to-resign-premature-ayikoi-otoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/09\/calls-for-chraj-boss-to-resign-premature-ayikoi-otoo\/","title":{"rendered":"Calls for CHRAJ Boss to resign &#8216;premature&#8217; \u2013 Ayikoi Otoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ayikoi Otoo,has described calls for the Commissoner of the Commission on Human Rights and Adminstrative Justice (CHRAJ), Lauretta Lamptey to resign as premature.<\/p>\n<p>The CHRAJ Boss has come under widespread criticism for her decision to spend about<a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/16\/chraj-boss-accused-of-wasting-180000-on-rent\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color: #666699;\"> $180,000 on rent alone<\/span><\/strong><\/a> within a space of three years.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;OAs569qekGcx9mHxHZYbePSO96ZQNxnU&#8221;]Her decision has prompted various<a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/17\/resign-to-redeem-your-image-group-tells-chraj-boss\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color: #888888;\"> groups<\/span><\/strong><\/a> and <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/13\/chraj-should-investigate-world-cup-committee-too-casely-hayford\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>individuals<\/strong><\/span><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/13\/chraj-should-investigate-world-cup-committee-too-casely-hayford\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/span>to call for her removal.<\/p>\n<p>The Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/23\/mp-begins-process-to-remove-chraj-boss\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>has initiated moves to impeach<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span> the CHRAJ Boss.<\/p>\n<p>The<span style=\"color: #666699;\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/22\/auditor-general-queries-chraj-boss\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>Auditor General has already begun an audit into the matter<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span>, but drawing from\u00a0Article 146, Article 288, Annoh-Dompreh told\u00a0<strong>Citi News <\/strong>that \u201cit is clear and unambiguous and so if there is supposed to be any investigation by the Auditor General, it will still not undermine or discount a petition submitted to the presidency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/lauretta_3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-47121\" alt=\"lauretta_3\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/lauretta_3.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/lauretta_3.jpg 480w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/lauretta_3-300x166.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But speaking on Joy News File, Ayikoi Otoo suggested that the processes should be slowed down to ensure that justice is served.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy don\u2019t we take our time to put everything in order?
