Wiyaala is expected to drop her new single, \u201cAfrica\u201d on \u00a0September, 29th, 2014.<\/p>\n
The song was debuted live at \u201cA Night of 1018 Laughs\u201d to a wildly enthusiastic crowd in a performance described by critics as \u201cimmense\u201d, \u201cawesome\u201d and \u201cthe Angelique Kidjo of our time\u201d.<\/p>\n
Following her knock-about antics in the hit songs, \u201cRock My Body\u201d and \u201cGo Go Black Stars\u201d, Wiyaala turns her attention to more serious issues: \u201cI was partly inspired to write \u201cAfrica\u201d by Sherifa Gunu, who helped me during some difficult times. \u00a0Like my dear sister, I want to send out a message for peace.<\/p>\n
