An Accra Fast Track High Court has adjourned an application seeking an interlocutory injunction on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) congress on October 18.<\/p>\n
The Congress will give the party an opportunity to elect its flagbearer to lead the party in the 2016\u00a0 general elections but two members of the party; Rexford Agyei Frimpong and Oppong \u00a0Kyekyeku are seeking an order against the National Council to comply with the provision of the NPP constitution and fix a new date for the\u00a0congress.<\/p>\n
Counsel for the two, pleaded for more time to study the NPP’s response to their application.<\/p>\n
