{"id":50027,"date":"2014-09-22T11:06:48","date_gmt":"2014-09-22T11:06:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=50027"},"modified":"2014-09-22T11:06:48","modified_gmt":"2014-09-22T11:06:48","slug":"industries-must-be-excluded-from-load-shedding-exercise-agi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/09\/industries-must-be-excluded-from-load-shedding-exercise-agi\/","title":{"rendered":"Industries must be excluded from load shedding exercise &#8211; AGI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) is demanding that the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) excludes industries and businesses from the ongoing load shedding exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Industries have expressed worry over the rise in production cost due to the power crisis facing the country.<\/p>\n<p>The ECG is to soon provide a time table for the load shedding exercise, it is already embarking on, due to the country&#8217;s power crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to\u00a0<b>Citi Business News<\/b>\u00a0the President of AGI James Asare Adjei said the current load shedding exercise is negatively affecting businesses especially those in the industrial sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lack of a clear timetable for the load shedding exercise is a big challenge for industries.
