Our sponsors, Goldfields Ghana and the Ghana Manganese Company, were also very supportive and we show our gratitude to them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The fans were also great and we thank them especially for cheering us during \u00a0a very challenging encounter away from home&#8221;, said Ebenezer Aidoo, the club&#8217;s Public Relations Officer, to <strong>Citi Sports<\/strong> in an interview after the match.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The match was really difficult especially as Medeama conceded a goal in the first half to give a boost to the home team but qualification was sealed when a Kabiru Moro cross was deflected into the goal by Mohammed Ali Bamaamar. Mas Fez scored again in the second half but it was not enough to stop the Ghanaians.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Aidoo admitted that there were some nervous moments during the game but Medeama held firm to move forward.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8221; The first half had some very worrying times because we were under a lot of pressure.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was obvious they wanted to get an early goal and they worked hard to get it.
