[contextly_sidebar id=”1sP8jubBkSscJbPYmqBnUMlwWafq3HE3″]Speaking at the commission of the newly refurbished Iran Clinic in Accra, President Mahama said: \u201cIt is not government\u2019s responsibility alone to keep our surrounding clean, it is our own responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said though government provides sanitation facilities on a regular basis, Ghanaains fail to use those facilities.<\/p>\n
\u201cSanitation facilities are provided, but people don\u2019t use them and some people prefer to do their business outside. Sometimes on the beach, and on the shore line and they say it is more pleasant because you will have \u2018koryor\u2019 [air]passing under your somewhere. It is totally unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Iran Clinic located at Adabraka in Accra has been in operation for more than two decades serving residents of Adabraka, Maamobi, New Town and Nima. The facility has been refurbished with sponsorship from the Government of Iran to the status of a hospital.<\/p>\n
