The company recently announced the ability for customers to pay their DStv and GOtv bills through their platform.<\/p>\n
In two minutes users can download the app onto their phones and begin making payments towards utilities like water, internet and television bills among others.<\/p>\n
expressPay is an indigenous company founded by Ghanaian MIT alumni. Recognizing the need for easy solutions to payment challenges, Messrs Kodjo Hesse, William Tetteh, Curtis Vanderpuije and Kwei Hesse formed ExpressPay in 2012.<\/p>\n
‘I have always believed in African solutions to our problems so this is an easy fit for me,’ M.anifest added.<\/p>\n
For his part, Chief Executive Officer Curtis Vanderpuije of expressPay notes,\u00a0\u201cIn Ghana, we find that we spend far too much time on what should ordinarily take a few minutes to do. From the time we spend in traffic getting to work, to the time we take paying down those bills. expressPay is designed to address some of the challenges we face in this regard. While we cannot single-handedly solve the traffic problem, we have provided an innovative solution to the payments problem.\u201d<\/p>\n
