suspension of the chairman<\/span><\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nBut speaking on Citi Fm\u2019s Point Blank <\/b>on Monday, Francis Addai-Nimo, who is also the Member of Parliament for Mampong, called on the party\u2019s leadership to set up a committee to investigate the issue and recommend punishment for Bugri Naabu to ensure sanity in the party.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019l leave that matter to the party leadership. The national chairman is there to take that matter up. If there is a committee that is set up to look into the remarks can relate it to the democratic credentials of our party and then make recommendations. Once the committee is\u00a0 in place, it goes into the matter, does all the investigations, the committee \u00a0can make a recommendation. And the committee may make a recommendation on what type of punishment that should come,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n
He described the comments by Bugri Naabu as \u201cundemocratic”\u00a0 and asked party members to condemn it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that is the most undemocratic statement I should hear from anybody. Particularly from the family of the New Patriotic Party.\u201d<\/p>\n
