{"id":46005,"date":"2014-09-09T13:30:10","date_gmt":"2014-09-09T13:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=46005"},"modified":"2014-09-09T13:46:43","modified_gmt":"2014-09-09T13:46:43","slug":"universities-to-get-ebola-protective-gears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/09\/universities-to-get-ebola-protective-gears\/","title":{"rendered":"Universities to get Ebola protective gears"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ministry of Health will on Wednesday distribute about 1,000 pieces of protective gears to some tertiary institutions in the country in a bid to prevent the possible outbreak and spread of the deadly Ebola Virus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Deputy Education Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in an earlier interview with <strong>Citi News\u00a0<\/strong>disclosed that the government had ordered 10,000 pieces of the protective gears into the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It subsequently directed tertiary institutions to also establish Ebola isolation centers on their campuses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking to <b>Citi News<\/b>, the PRO of the Ministry of Health, Tony Goodman noted that the ministry has taken stock of only 1,000 .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said the items will \u00a0distributed the universities and other institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;zWYOum2ScPtg49JQYlLATlk7q60KJca4&#8243;]\u201cSo far we have about 1,000 of them arriving. We are expecting more so we needed these to quickly distribute to the schools to work with, that is why this has arrived ahead of the bulk one. So this one will go straight to the schools for their reopening screening,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He further disclosed that the universities have designed a strategy for the distribution process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt has arrived so tomorrow we will be giving the ones that are supposed to be given to the universities at 3pm at the UPS at madina. All of these universities representatives will be there.
