Presidential hopeful, Nana Akufo-Addo has stated that he does not fear competition from any of the other candidates seeking to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP).<\/p>\n
Supporters of the two-time presidential candidate have been pressurizing executives of the party and the other contestants, Alan Kyeremanteng, Addai Nimoh and Kofi Osei Ameyaw to allow Nana Addo to contest unopposed.<\/p>\n
But speaking to delegates on his campaign tour in the Upper West Region Nana Addo said the calls are unnecessary. He said he is prepared for competition.<\/p>\n
“I’m not going to worry myself about people standing down or not, I welcome competition. I have always welcomed competition.”<\/p>\n
He added that;\u201cthe party must speak emphatically like the party spoke emphatically on August 31.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is the way that we are going and we are determined to go that way. Nobody should have any doubt about it. The NPP is determined, united and focused,” he added.
