{"id":45638,"date":"2014-09-08T09:08:23","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T09:08:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=45638"},"modified":"2014-09-08T10:43:42","modified_gmt":"2014-09-08T10:43:42","slug":"we-didnt-swear-npp-nr-communications-director-fumes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/09\/we-didnt-swear-npp-nr-communications-director-fumes\/","title":{"rendered":"We didn&#8217;t swear  &#8211; NPP N\/R Communications Director fumes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410158796363_6307\">There are mixed reactions to the Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu\u2019s call for investigations to smoke out eight delegates who voted against Nana Akuffo Addo at the regional super delegates\u2019 congress held in Tamale.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410158796363_6303\">Whilst some party supporters have welcomed his call, others have described it as misplaced.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410158796363_6063\">The Regional Chairman, Daniel Bugri Naabu in a live interview on Citi FM claimed all delegates in the region pledged to vote for Nana Akuffo Addo ahead of the super delegates\u2019 congress.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410158796363_6107\">He could not understand why eight out of the 71 rescinded their decision on the day of the polls.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410158796363_6108\">This according to him informed his decision to set up a special committee to smoke out all those who voted against Nana Akuffo Addo in the region.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410158796363_6312\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;CqgJ1CnVWHr0umkYaAMHqbLE4W91HlHh&#8221;]The NPP Northern Regional Communications Director, Mohammed Abdul Kudus is one of those who have openly disagreed with Daniel Bugri Naabu\u2019s call.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1410158796363_6315\">He dismissed the regional Chairman\u2019s allegation that all delegates in the region swore either the Bible or the Qur\u2019an to vote for Nana Akuffo Addo enbloc.<\/p>\n<p>Bugri Naabu in the said interview on <strong>Eye Witness News<\/strong> said:\u00a0\u201cI was voted by popular majority in the party so if I want to do my thing, who can stop me by saying that what I am doing is not right?
