<\/a>Staff of TV3 on Friday demonstrated against management for failing to meet their demands for better conditions of service.<\/p>\nAccording to the workers, management has neglected their concerns for years hence their decision to demonstrate.<\/p>\n
One of the staff who spoke to Citi FM<\/strong>\u2019s Pearl\u00a0 Akanya Ofori on condition of anonymity stated that \u2018TV3 now presently has new managers\u00a0 who\u00a0\u00a0 are Ghanaians.\u00a0When they\u00a0\u00a0 bought the company from the old owners they communicated to the staff that they will not lay off workers, a promise they failed to fulfill.\u00a0 But what is most annoying is that the new management who were affected by the redundancy earlier had their salaries increased by almost five hundred percent.\u201d<\/p>\n\u2018We are demonstrating\u00a0\u00a0 because we are demanding that management \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0explains to us why they won\u2019t pay us what is due us per the\u00a0\u00a0 Collective Bargaining Agreement,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n
