Business activities have reportedly come to a halt in the area.<\/p>\n<p>But the police say they are working to ensure social and commercial activities return to normal in the town which shares border with Togo and Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n<p>The Bawku Divisional Commander Chief Superintendent Lovelace Tefutor told Citi News they have also increased their visibility in the area to respond quickly to emergency cases.<\/p>\n<p>The move, according to the commander, will pave way for crime perpetrators in the area to be arrested.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we hear any gunshot we can just locate the area, search and pick the weapons,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>By: Godwin Allotey Akweiteh\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bawku Police are working to restore calm in the Bawku Municipality after the recent clashes.
