Italy striker Mario Balotelli has completed his \u00a316m move to Liverpool from Serie A side AC Milan.<\/p>\n
The former Manchester City player, 24, agreed a long-term deal with the Merseyside outfit but will not feature against his old club on Monday night.<\/p>\n
Balotelli left City 17 months ago after scoring 30 goals in three seasons.<\/p>\n

Liverpool are one of the best teams here in England and the football is very good here.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u2018A great team with young players\u2019: Balotelli, who left Manchester City in 2013, said Liverpool are one of the best teams in England<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a great team with young players and that\u2019s why I came here.\u201d<\/p>\n Rodgers added: \u201cThere is no doubting Mario\u2019s ability.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is a world-class talent and someone who, for such a young age, has vast experience of playing at the very highest level.<\/p>\n \u201cHe has scored goals in the Barclays Premier League, in Italy, in the Champions League and for his country at international level.<\/p>\n Signing up: Balotelli returns to England after an 18-month absence having scored 30 goals with AC Milan<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI believe we have the infrastructure, culture and environment to get the best out of him and help him achieve his true potential.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are a strong group here, committed to hard work and he will benefit from being around it.<\/p>\n Ready for business: The 24-year-old arrived at Melwood on Monday afternoon to put the finishing touches to the transfer<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI am looking forward to working with him and helping him learn more, improve and progress as a player.
