After failing to beat Asante Kotoko in Week 1,\u00a0WAFA<\/strong>\u00a0went to\u00a0Liberty Professionals<\/strong>\u00a0and got a very impressive 3-1 win at the Karl Reindorf Park.<\/p>\n The match was Liberty new coach, Reginald Asante\u2019s first in charge of the team but not even his presence could save them from a difficult afternoon.<\/p>\n Former Black Starlets players, Aminu Mohammed and Richard Danso got the first two goals of the match with Charles Boateng getting the third after he came on as a sub. Bright Andoh got the consolation for Liberty in injury time.<\/p>\n In Kumasi,\u00a0Asante Kotoko<\/strong>\u00a0went two games unbeaten in the season with a 1-0 win over\u00a0Inter Allies<\/strong>. Obed Owusu found the net in the second half but the Reds needed Felix Annan several times to keep Allies from getting the equaliser.<\/p>\n The clash of the new boys between\u00a0Karela FC<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Techiman Eleven Wonders<\/strong>\u00a0ended in a 1-1 draw. William Opoku Mensah scored for Karela while Abdul Wahab scored for Wonders.<\/p>\n Defending champions,\u00a0Aduana Stars<\/strong>, got their season going with a goalless draw at\u00a0Elmina Sharks<\/strong>.
