Embassy supports Ga Central with ICT centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Residents of the Ga Central Municipality in the Greater Accra Region can now boast of a modern ICT Centre.<\/p>\n<p>This follows the handing over of the China-Ghana Friendship Community Center to the community on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The Center, whose construction was aided by the Chinese Embassy in Ghana, has a multimedia classroom, a conference room, two offices, a lobby, washrooms, and uninterrupted power supply.<\/p>\n<p>The ICT Centre, which is also the first large-scale multipurpose public facility in the municipality is located on the campus of the Maranatha University College.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-412591 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-2.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the handing over ceremony, the Ga Central Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey indicated that the facility couldn&#8217;t have come at a better time, as the assembly is migrating a lot of its transactions onto the electronic and digital platforms<\/p>\n<p>He assured the public that they will put the facility to good use and ensure its maintenance.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-412587 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"476\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-7.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-7-300x186.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Member of Parliament\u00a0for Anyaa Sowutuom, who doubles as the Foreign Affairs Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey underscored the enormous mutual economic benefits of the collaboration to Ghana and China.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-412592 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-3.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/ga-central-gets-chines-support-3-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Using the facility as a case in point, she was hopeful that the relationship between the two countries\u00a0relationship will deepen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-412585 size-full\" and students of the Maranatha University College will make maximum use of the facility which will save them time and money travelling elsewhere to get those services.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
