N\u2019Golo Kant\u00e9 missed Chelsea\u2019s visit to Manchester City on Sunday after fainting at the club\u2019s training ground on Friday, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old reportedly passed out after a training session at Cobham, and later underwent cardiology tests. Despite being initially cleared to play, Kant\u00e9 felt unwell on Sunday morning and was left out of Antonio Conte\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n

As first reported\u00a0by The Telegraph, the French midfielder was attended to by team doctors seconds after slumping over in the dressing room. After regaining consciousness, Kant\u00e9 was sent to a specialist, who found no heart problems.<\/p>\n

The incident is thought to have greatly alarmed Kant\u00e9\u2019s team-mates at the time, and was brought into sharp relief by the news of Fiorentina captain\u00a0Davide Astori\u2019s sudden death\u00a0on Sunday.<\/p>\n
