{"id":405457,"date":"2018-03-01T11:42:30","date_gmt":"2018-03-01T11:42:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=405457"},"modified":"2018-03-01T11:42:30","modified_gmt":"2018-03-01T11:42:30","slug":"ebonys-funeral-held-black-star-square","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2018\/03\/ebonys-funeral-held-black-star-square\/","title":{"rendered":"Ebony\u2019s funeral to be held at Black Star Square"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nana Poku Kwarteng, father of dance hall artiste Ebony has finally announced the venue for the funeral of his daughter.<\/p>\n<p>The family during the one week commemoration said the funeral would be held on 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March, 2018 but did not add the venue.<\/p>\n<p>In an exclusive interview with Citi FM, Mr. Kwarteng stated that the family had chosen the Black Star Square for the funeral.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/showbiz.citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/ebony-dad.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-56733 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/showbiz.citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/ebony-dad.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/showbiz.citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/ebony-dad.png 475w, http:\/\/showbiz.citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/ebony-dad-300x216.png 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"567\" height=\"408\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe funeral will take place at the Independence Square,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the family is unhappy with a recent video showing the body of Ebony and her friend Franky Kuri at the morgue.<\/p>\n<p>According to Mr. Kwarteng, the family would not hesitate to sue whoever took the video once they are done with their investigations.<\/p>\n<p>Ebony died on Thursday 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0February, 2018 on the Sunyani-Kumasi road in a gory car accident with her two friends.<\/p>\n<p>The dance hall sensation has hit songs such as \u2018Dancefloor,\u2019 \u2018Kupe,\u2019 \u2018Poison,\u2019 \u2018Date Ur Fada,\u2019 \u2018Hustle,\u2019 \u2018Maame Hwe\u2019 among others.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013<\/p>\n<p>By: Kwame Dadzie\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nana Poku Kwarteng, father of dance hall artiste Ebony has finally announced the venue for the funeral of his daughter.
