{"id":404032,"date":"2018-02-24T09:32:33","date_gmt":"2018-02-24T09:32:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=404032"},"modified":"2018-02-24T09:32:33","modified_gmt":"2018-02-24T09:32:33","slug":"ksm-retire-comedy-last-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2018\/02\/ksm-retire-comedy-last-show\/","title":{"rendered":"KSM to retire from comedy with last show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Satirist Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) has hinted that he is preparing to hold his last comedy show before he finally bows out of stage comedy.<\/p>\n<p>He told Graphic Showbiz that even though he admits his reign as the king of comedy is over, he needs to serve his fans one show before he exits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am about to retire but that is after the last show left in me has been performed. I can\u2019t fizzle out just like that. I need to say a proper goodbye to my fans. When I take my curtain call and bow after that show, then I know my love affair with the stage is done,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>The show dubbed \u201cKSM\u2014The Final Curtain Call\u201d is scheduled to come off in a few months.<\/p>\n<p>The 61 year-old comedian also added that his final show will be characterized by the energy of the \u201cyoungest old man in GH on that day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to KSM \u201cit\u2019s not going to be just a show, it is going to be a memorable event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>KSM staged his first play \u2018Mellow Madness\u2019 in 1977. In 1997, his one-man play, Saga of a Returnee shot him into the limelight.<\/p>\n<p>He also disclosed he will soon be bowing out of his show, \u2018The KSM Show\u2019 which has been on TV since 2003.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am eventually going to pass on the hosting to a young brilliant talented guy. He is fascinating, and I can\u2019t think of a better replacement to take over from me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>However, the KSM is not totally leaving the screens.
