{"id":400881,"date":"2018-02-12T18:09:04","date_gmt":"2018-02-12T18:09:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=400881"},"modified":"2018-02-12T18:10:56","modified_gmt":"2018-02-12T18:10:56","slug":"finishing-let-us-yusif-abubakar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2018\/02\/finishing-let-us-yusif-abubakar\/","title":{"rendered":"Our finishing let us down- Yusif Abubakar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aduana Stars Head Coach, Yusif Abubakar, has expressed discontent at his side\u2019s below par finishing in their 1-0 loss to Libyan side Al Tahaddy in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The Dormaa-based club was guilty of squandering clear cut opportunities to equalize after Mahmoud Ali had given Al-Tahaddy an early lead, and eventually succumbed to defeat in far away Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters after the game, Coach Abubakar, rued the missed chances and believes his outfit could have earned something out of the game had his forwards been clinical.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a good match as we all saw. We didn\u2019t intend to come with defensive mentality, we only wanted to defend and attack at the same time.
