The Ghana Military Command has said it has begun investigations into the circumstances that led to the death of one of its officers in the tragic Thursday evening car crash that also killed singer Ebony Reigns.<\/p>\n
The deceased officer, Lance Corporal Vondee Francis Atsu, was stationed at the Accra Airforce Base in Burma Camp and was not officially deployed for bodyguard duties.<\/p>\n
Earlier reports suggested that he was acting as the\u00a0bodyguard for the 20-year-old singer.<\/p>\n
Soldier unknown\u00a0to Ebony’s managers<\/strong><\/p>\n Ebony’s management team have since denied any knowledge of identities of the driver and soldier travelling with the singer at the time of their fatal car crash at Mankraso in the Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n Abeiku Santana, a member of the management team, said he only knew Ebony\u2019s friend, Francisca\u00a0Nkansah Kuri, who was the fourth person in the car and also died.<\/p>\n
