Experience will tell us that once there is a feud especially a chieftancy case where you have two factions, once there is an attack from one side, the tendency is that the other side will also prepare and then would want to retaliate, and there will be reprisal attacks&#8221; Dr. Hafiz Taher said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Curfew reviewed after sporadic gunfire <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Interior has reviewed the curfew it imposed on the Bimbilla Township following recent reports of\u00a0<span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2018\/01\/12\/3-dead-8-injured-from-sporadic-gunshots-in-bimbilla\/\"><strong>sporadic gunfire<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The curfew, which previously spanned six hours from\u00a0 10:00pm to 4:00am, has been reviewed to the period from dusk to dawn [6:00pm to 6:00am] effective today, Friday, January 12, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Minister of the Interior has on the advice of the Northern Regional Security Council and by Executive Instrument reviewed the existing curfew hours for Bimbilla Township from 10:00pm to 4:00am to 6:00pm to 6:00am effective this Friday, January 12, 2018,\u201d the Minister of Interior Ambrose Dery said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two arrested in connection with Bimbilla shooting <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two persons were also arrested in connection with\u00a0 a recent shooting in Bimbilla which left three persons dead and seven others hospitalized.<\/p>\n<p>The Northern Regional Security Council deployed a 30-man security reinforcement team to the area on Friday following the incident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supreme Court hearing begins February 13<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Supreme Court has said it will hear the case relating to the Bimbilla chieftaincy dispute on February 13, 2018<\/p>\n<p>The case was sent to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/06\/26\/supreme-court-urged-to-expedite-action-on-bimbilla-chieftaincy-dispute\/\"><strong>Supreme Court<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0by the late Nakpaa Naa Salifu Dawuni after the National House of Chiefs ruled against him at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n<p>Bimbilla, over the last 15 years, has been engulfed in a chieftaincy conflict which has led to clashes between the various\u00a0factions, and has claimed over forty lives, including women and children.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Anass S.
