The Auditor-General has rejected a GH\u00a2269-million bill presented by the Ministry of Energy as part of the government\u2019s liability for various contracts undertaken by the ministry in 2016.<\/p>\n
An audit of the government\u2019s liabilities to ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) shows that almost all the bills on various contracts presented to the government for payment by the ministry did not either have supporting documents to back the claims or had already been paid.<\/p>\n
