{"id":394352,"date":"2018-01-23T15:15:45","date_gmt":"2018-01-23T15:15:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=394352"},"modified":"2018-01-23T15:15:45","modified_gmt":"2018-01-23T15:15:45","slug":"cttee-to-present-report-on-gyaama-pensan-shs-riot-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2018\/01\/cttee-to-present-report-on-gyaama-pensan-shs-riot-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"C&#8217;ttee to present report on Gyaama Pensan SHS riot Friday\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A committee constituted to investigate disturbances by students of the Gyaama Pensan Senior High\/Technical School is expected to present its recommendations on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>This was disclosed by the District Chief Executive for Kwabre East, Nana Osei Assibey Bonsu after an emergency meeting with stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;ycxdBymCjA8Wmeu5bVS6ei88Fc9cSDuN&#8221;]The students, who vandalized the headmaster\u2019s bungalow and other school properties over what they described as his refusal to allow them to partake in activities such as inter-schools sports and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>The police were subsequently dispatched to the school to maintain law and order.<\/p>\n<p>Four students were admitted following the protests but two were discharged on Monday. If the committee recommends that the schools will pay, fine they will pay.
