The Ghana Black Stars have moved up two places in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola world rankings released on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Stars amassed a total of 648 points, 6 points more than their previous 642.31 points accumulated in July after they exited from the group stages of the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Ghana is now ranked 36th<\/sup> in the world and lie behind 2006 world cup opponents Czech Republic who occupy the 35th<\/sup> position.<\/p>\n

2014 World Cup winners, Germany remain at the top of the world ranking table with 1736 points.<\/p>\n

Argentina lie second place with 1604 points, Netherlands in third place with 1507 points with Columbia in fourth place.<\/p>\n

On the Continental table, the Black Stars of Ghana have now jumped to fourth place in Africa after they dropped to sixth in July.<\/p>\n

The desert foxes of Algeria remain the highest ranked club on the continent with Cote D\u2019Ivoire in second and the Super Eagles of Nigeria in third place.<\/p>\n
