{"id":390803,"date":"2018-01-11T18:36:16","date_gmt":"2018-01-11T18:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=390803"},"modified":"2018-01-11T19:13:30","modified_gmt":"2018-01-11T19:13:30","slug":"former-central-regional-minister-edumadze-dies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2018\/01\/former-central-regional-minister-edumadze-dies\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Central Regional Minister Edumadze dies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A former Central Regional Minister in the erstwhile John Kufuor administration, Isaac Edumadze, has died.<\/p>\n<p>He is reported to have passed away today [Thursday] afternoon at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, where he was receiving treatment for an ailment.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Edumadze had been unwell for some time, and was rushed to the hospital last Friday when his situation degenerated.<\/p>\n<p>The New Patriotic Party, NPP Chairman for\u00a0Ejumako-Enyan-Essiam, George Apiadu Mensah, confirmed his demise to<strong> Citi News<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Edumadze, about 60 years old, was also a known farmer in the Ajumako area in the Central Region where he hails from.<\/p>\n<p>The former MP who served from 1996 to 2004 for the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam Constituency, was one of the most popular public officials from the Central Region during the Kufuor era.<br \/>\n&#8211;<br \/>\nBy: Joseph Ackon-Mensah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A former Central Regional Minister in the erstwhile John Kufuor administration, Isaac Edumadze, has died.
