{"id":387417,"date":"2017-12-30T17:43:28","date_gmt":"2017-12-30T17:43:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=387417"},"modified":"2017-12-30T17:53:25","modified_gmt":"2017-12-30T17:53:25","slug":"klottey-korle-nii-noi-supporters-not-removed-from-register-npp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/12\/klottey-korle-nii-noi-supporters-not-removed-from-register-npp\/","title":{"rendered":"Klottey Korle: Nii Noi supporters not removed from register &#8211; NPP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Klottey Korley constituency has denied allegations of attempts to expunge persons who supported independent candidate Nii Noi Nortey in the 2016 elections, from polling registers.<\/p>\n<p>According to the party, the allegations being peddled are false, as the register contains the names of all well-standing members.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;xvOivLFpi5AAW8iHlWAlJaTzVGyQfnSn&#8221;]Some members of the party in the constituency on Thursday <strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/12\/28\/protests-over-alleged-removal-of-nii-noi-followers-from-npp-register\/\">besieged the party\u2019s headquarters<\/a><\/span><\/strong> to protest against alleged attempts to expunge persons who supported independent candidate Nii Noi Nortey in the 2016 elections, from polling registers.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice-Chairman of the NPP in the Klottey Korley constituency Alhaji Aliu Kabe\u00a0told <strong>Citi News<\/strong> that the friction arising from Nii Noi Nortey&#8217;s\u00a0initial defection from the party has not even resulted in any sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nobody has been sanctioned in this constituency official or on record\u2026 the only thing I know, that I can speak to is that he who alleges must prove.
