KCM, Ashanti Region\u2019s pride in modern one-stop retail shopping, and Rent Air, a pace-setting air route buying company have opened an exclusive photo expo at the mall to highlight the plight of the needy, inspire philanthropy and motivate \u00a0individual sympathizers and organisations to \u00a0support the cause of upgrading the quality of life of the needy.<\/p><\/div>\n
The company\u2019s charitable initiatives have occasionally been extended to desperate cases of individuals in dire strait, such as the sponsorship of surgery for Little Emmanuel who suffered from Anorrectal Malformation – a rare disease prevalent in the Northern parts of the country and the rehabilitation of a Fumso woman who was exiled from her hometown due to indebtedness.<\/p><\/div>\n
\u201cThe content of the Exhibition would all be drawn from a series of projects accomplished from August, 2016 to December, 2017. They are as follows; \u2018The Widows Mite\u2019 (Juabeng), \u2018Road to Fumso\u2019 (Fumso), \u2018Street fete\u2019 (Kumasi Metropolis), \u2018Pain of no Exit\u2019(Northern Region) and our current project \u2018The Homeless Home\u2019 (Bekwai) which, we hope will be the glare of the exhibition, said Ms. Okutu.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs the most popular and the most compelling destination for shopping and recreation in Kumasi, we are happy that KCM is the venue for showcasing mementos for such a noble cause. We are proud to have partnered Rent Air for this very revealing and touching exhibition,\u201d said John Bedu-Bonsu, marketing manager at KCM.<\/p>\n
Mr. Bedu-Bonsu urged all Kumasi residents to take time off to visit the mall and patronize the exhibition to help improve the living conditions of the thousands of needy persons across the Ashanti Region and elsewhere.<\/p><\/div>\n
