<\/strong> The La General Hospital continues to record an increasing number of cholera cases.<\/p>\n Officials at the La General Hospital in Accra revealed that the hospital recorded 74 new cases between Saturday and Monday.<\/p>\n \u2018\u2019In fact from Saturday to today [Monday] we have seen new cases; 74 of them,\u2019\u2019 the hospital administrator, Philip Afeti Korto told citifmonline.com.<\/p>\n According to the Administrator of the La General Hospital,\u00a0 the hospital has treated 586 cases since it recorded the first case on June 9.<\/p>\n Mr. Afeti Korto also revealed that six persons had died at the hospital from the disease, saying \u2018\u2019most of them were brought in dead already\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, in line with the hospital\u2019s appeal for support to help deal with cholera case, Macbells Company Limited on Monday presented mattresses, disinfectants, bleach, liquid soap, gloves and other items to the hospital.<\/p>\n The administrator expressed gratitude to Macbells for their kind gesture.<\/p>\n \u201cI must say that I am extremely impressed because this is a hard time for us a hospital with the treatment of the Cholera patients; we thought that the cases will decrease but they keep on increasing.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
