The Old Vandals Association has extended its condolences to the family of a colleague who was stabbed to death in a bloody fight at the Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana, Legon.<\/p>\n
Narrating circumstances leading to the incident, the Association, in a statement said “it began as a mere argument between the two (the deceased and the killer) in a bus from Amrahia to campus \u201c(after attending the funeral of the late Vandal Lion).\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement added that \u201cwhen they got to the Hall, they had not stopped. It was at this time that the killer allegedly grabbed the knife of the khebab seller and cut the victim several times with it. The victim bled profusely and was rushed to the Legon Hospital by the killer and some Vandals.\u201d<\/p>\n
The incident, according to the statement occurred at \u201cabout 6: 30 pm on Saturday, December 9 2017, at the ‘Charging Grounds’ in the Commonwealth Hall,” adding that the\u00a0deceased was declared dead around 7 pm as “doctors could not save his life.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Association is expected to meet to decide on the way forward after their colleague\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
