I wish to assure them that Free SHS will be sustained, that Free SHS is here to stay. The overwhelming majority of Ghanaians support the choice that I have made in implementing Free SHS,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-379584 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/President-Akufo-Addo-cutting-the-60th-anniversary-cake-of-the-school.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/President-Akufo-Addo-cutting-the-60th-anniversary-cake-of-the-school.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/President-Akufo-Addo-cutting-the-60th-anniversary-cake-of-the-school-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>SHS challenges will be addressed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the teething challenges confronting the programme, the President acknowledged that such issues confront any new and bold initiative, adding that his \u201cgovernment has ordered <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/11\/26\/govt-to-provide-desks-bunk-beds-for-senior-high-schools\/\"><strong>thousands of mono-desks<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and bunk beds, as well as furniture for dining halls, staff rooms, computer labs and markers for classrooms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-379582 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Section-of-students-of-Kumasi-Academy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Section-of-students-of-Kumasi-Academy.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Section-of-students-of-Kumasi-Academy-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In commemoration of the Kumasi Academy\u2019s 60<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary, the President announced that, through the Ministry of Education, there will be construction of a vocational centre, and the completion of the school&#8217;s Library and ICT Centre.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Godwin A.
