Ghana is today marking the 33rd<\/span> edition of the National Farmers\u2019 Day event aimed at rewarding farmers who have been outstanding in their respective areas.<\/p>\n
About 90 farmers are expected to be honoured for their immense contribution towards the development of the agricultural sector at the national event being held in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.<\/p>\n
Hundreds of farmers and dignitaries are already seated for the ceremony at the\u00a0Heroes Park near the Baba Yara Sports stadium .<\/p>\n
Today’s event crowns an 8-day exhibition that took place at the same venue. The President, Nana Akufo-Addo and other officials, have already arrived for the event.<\/p>\n
