Citi Business News is learning that importers and exporters are likely to pay more on tariffs at the ports effective January 2018.<\/p>\n
This follows the revision of the various port tariffs by the Ghana Port and Harbours Authority (GPHA).<\/p>\n
Indications are that the charges will go up between 5 and 20% when the new tariffs are introduced.<\/p>\n
According to officials, the change has become necessary as it has been almost four years since the GPHA last reviewed its tariffs.<\/p>\n
