President Nana Akufo-Addo on Monday November 13, 207, launched the National Sanitation Campaign not only with a call for a change in attitude from Ghanaians, but some policy initiatives to enforce already existing sanitation laws.<\/p>\n
The president admitted that indiscipline was a major stumbling\u00a0block in Ghana’s attempts to improve sanitation, but stressed that his government intendeds to\u00a0make “a fresh\u00a0start.”<\/p>\n
The New Patriotic Party had pledged to introduce a comprehensive programme to address Ghana\u2019s dire sanitation situation, especially in urban areas.<\/p>\n
