{"id":37178,"date":"2014-08-05T15:45:09","date_gmt":"2014-08-05T15:45:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=37178"},"modified":"2014-11-03T14:37:32","modified_gmt":"2014-11-03T14:37:32","slug":"nana-konadu-will-not-rejoin-ndc-ndp-spokesperson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/08\/nana-konadu-will-not-rejoin-ndc-ndp-spokesperson\/","title":{"rendered":"Nana Konadu will not rejoin NDC \u2013 NDP spokesperson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Director of Communications of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has rubbished media reports that the party\u2019s founder, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, is returning to the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).<\/p>\n<p>The Republic Newspaper, on Tuesday, reported that the former vice chairperson of the NDC was rejoining the party.<\/p>\n<p>The former first lady, left the NDC and went on to form the National Democratic Party.<\/p>\n<p>However, \u00a0Ernest Owusu Bempah, in an interview with <b>Citi News<\/b> downplayed the publication, stating that the NDP founder had no intentions of returning to the NDC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a lie, it is not true,\u201d he stated when asked to comment on the newspaper\u2019s claim.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to describe the publication by the newspaper as \u201ca propaganda agenda by certain elements within the government circles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He believes it is an attempt by some members of the NDC government to \u201ctarnish the image of our party [NDP], a strategy to destroy our party and destroy the former first lady and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Owusu Bempah added that they would soon \u201cput the names of those trying to destroy our party out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By: Edwin Kwakofi\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Director of Communications of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has rubbished media reports that the party\u2019s founder, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, is returning to the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
