A 3-year girl has been allegedly defiled at Akufo Krodua, a community near Bawjiase in the Central Region, just weeks after a 4-year old reportedly suffered a\u00a0\u00a0similar fate at Assin Adedientam in the same region.<\/p>\n
The victim was initially given medical treatment at the Bawjiase Health Centre, and was later referred to the Agona Swedru Government Hospital for further treatment.<\/p>\n

The victim was alleged to have suffered the callous act from an 18-year old neighbour named Yavor on Thursday, October 2, and the case was reported to the police on October 4.<\/p>\n
The Central Regional police have mounted a search to arrest the suspect who is currently on the run.<\/p>\n
The police are also counting on the general public for any information on Yavor for his arrest and prosecution.<\/p>\n
