The Old Achimotans Association 2001 year group, has donated its ‘widow\u2019s mite’ to the \u00a0\u2018Citi Opportunity Project on Education\u00a0(COPE)\u2019 initiative.<\/p>\n
The group, led by its President, Kwadwo Ofori Jnr, donated a cash amount of GHc 3,000 to the social initiative that seeks to provide full scholarships to brilliant but deprived students to further their education.<\/p>\n

This 2001 year group began engaging in charity initiatives five years ago, and\u00a0most recently offered some support to the\u00a0Christian Faith\u00a0Orphanage at\u00a0Frafraha, as part of its ‘The Smile Project.’<\/p>\n
Citi FM<\/strong> recently launched a fundraising drive for the\u00a0COPE, seeking to raise GHc250,000 from listeners to support 50 beneficiaries.<\/p>\n The average amount spent on each beneficiary is roughly GH\u00a25,000, and this covers tuition, accommodation, stationery and a stipend.<\/p>\n How to contribute to COPE<\/strong><\/p>\n Donations can be sent to the MTN mobile money number 0550 900 006.
