Kalakoda promotions, Kwes\u00e9 sports to host boxing night<\/p>\n
On the 27th<\/sup>\u00a0of October Kalakoda Boxing Promotions and Kwes\u00e9 Friday Fight Nights host another bumper event in Accra, the spiritual home of African boxing.<\/p>\n The event will be staged at Africa\u2019s only purpose build boxing facility the Bukom Boxing Arena, the 3500 seater venue will provide the back drop to 7 bouts with 2 WABU West Africa titles featuring some top talent from across West Africa.<\/p>\n The event will open with an Afro Beat concert with local artists performing, confirmed musicians will be M3DAL, La Memme Gang, Joey B, DJ Vyrusky and Kalakoda\u2019s resident DJ Switch. Fans are urged to get to the event from as early as 3pm so as to enjoy the additional entertainment on offer. In addition DJ Switch will do battle with DJ Vyruskly in between the rounds to keep the crowd entertained and engaged.<\/p>\n \u201cGhana and West Africa is a new territory for us and we are excited about the many possibilities and opportunities that exist. The co main event see Sie Palenfo from the Ivory Coast take on Samuel Turkson from Ghana for the vacant WABU Welterweight Title.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know much about my opponent from Ivory Coast, but I am very fit and ready to go, the title is staying in Accra\u201d \u2013 Samuel Turkson<\/p>\n The remainder of the bill is made up of fighters from Cameroon and Ghana giving the event a true West African flavor and showcasing some great up and coming boxers.
